The alphaplus system is designed to grow a stock investment portfolio of ETFs at a rate faster than the S&P500 and Nasdaq “benchmark” Indexes. Its 30-year performance summary shows a record of long term out-performance. It shows its results alongside the benchmarks’ gains and also includes comparison performance during the stock market’s significant declines.

The alphaplus 30 year performance average is triple the average of the s&p 500 and nasdaq Index’s 30 year average performance. Although loss is inevitable during stock market declines, alphaplus has only had 2 years with moderate losses since 1990 as per the results of 30 years of real time performance. The gains of alphaplus do not include the additional gains from “distributions” that add shares to your holdings.

The use of sector ETFs as an investment vehicle empowers a conservative portfolio with simplicity, diversity, infrequent trading activity, along with modest volatility. Jerome Becker envisioned this system in 1989 while investing in sector funds, long before Exchange-Traded-Funds (ETF‘s) were created. ETFs are very much like Fidelity sector funds and are now recommended by alphaplus as they allow real time trading versus Fidelity sector portfolios**, which can only get traded at the end of each day.

alphaplus is a complex computerized program that provides information for investing in specific industry sectors using ETFs. It seeks to identify strength in sectors during the earliest phase of a potential rally. The system uses in part, relative strength as a measure of how a stock or sector is trading compared to the broader market. Whether the market is flat, declining or rising, ETFs that are increasing or decreasing in value at a quicker pace are notable in terms of their relative strength.

Although alphaplus tracks 35 industry sectors, it limits its purchases of ETF’s to only the 12 sectors with a history*** of long term superior performance. At the end of each market day, sector closing prices (NAV’s) are downloaded into the systems computers, and after thousands of calculations it transfers actionable and monitoring data to the ETFs sector fund investing daily summary. The summary shows the “calls” for when to be “IN” or “OUT” of the market, and it displays “buy” or “sell” for each ETF sector independently, as they meet the Systems many criteria. Additionally, alphaplus provides an accounting of each sector’s daily, weekly, monthly, and year to date performance of the “12” as it follows the percentage gain or loss according to its calls.

The generally used graphical form of technical analysis used to identify turning points in stocks and indexes, requires human knowledge and visual interpretation of charts and graphs. Its value is always dependent upon each individual analyst’s abilities and experience. Technical analysis or “charting” plays a major role within the professional investing community’s daily activities. Many brokerage, mutual fund, and hedge fund companies employ technical analysis (to varying degrees) to profit from this strategic information.

A description of the methods alphaplus system employs to create its advice is technical analysis in numerical form. The numerical or “spreadsheet” format enables daily computer recognition of pre-set criteria. The alphaplus systems results are derived through complex sets of algorithms (formulas combined to set criteria and judge performance) on individual spreadsheets for each industrial sector. It looks at each sector and measures in numerous ways, the daily closing prices of each ETF relative to the major indexes closing prices and provides daily information, and gives information on when to buy or sell each ETF. It also uses similar methods employing many spreadsheets of timing models (equivalent to dozens of graphical charts) to advise when to be IN or OUT of the market.

It is generally accepted that it’s impossible to “time” the market, meaning, to predict and call market tops and bottoms. alphaplus does not try to find exact tops or bottoms of each trend change, and it is not predictive. Its “calls” to be “IN” or “OUT” of the market or buy or sell an individual ETF are based solely upon each industry sector and market index’s daily closing prices. Its many formulas and algorithms, evaluate, analyze, track, and make daily calls, in the early phase of sector rotation and market turns as criteria relative to directional changes are met. It enables being “IN” the market as much as possible and “OUT” of the market only during major market declines. alphaplus is a long term investment device that has produced positive results as judged against the benchmark S&P 500 (30 year performance chart) and almost all mutual funds. It is additionally helpful in reducing the emotional component from investment decisions. There are 35 industry sectors (listed on the daily summary sheet). Each of the ETFs are invested in approx. 30 companies whose principle businesses are within that sector. The System seeks diversification and is usually invested on average in 8 to 12 sectors.

"I had never invested before, but the alphaplus Investment Method makes it so easy. I gained 5% on my original invesment within the first month. My favorite feature about the daily summary is that it will tell me what to buy, and if I need to sell. This enables me to go after aggressive growth while still feeling secure placing my savings in the stock market. I highly recommend this service."

"I followed the alphaplus system for several months and liked the results. I began to split my retirement IRA funds between 1) an account with funds suggested by my investment house and 2) a second account invested using the alphaplus system. The second account has significantly grown to almost 50% of my IRA assets as results of using the alphaplus system."
